Scadoxus multiflorus ssp. katherinae is the absolute number 1 in my personal top 10 of most beautiful specialty bulbs. W. bifolia is number 2 and still runner up. Although the flowers are less spectacular than the ones of the Scadoxus W. bifolia is most easty to grow and flowers each year, independent how you treated the bulbs last growing season and during the dormant period. The plants produce easily seeds and when sowing these seeds a germination rate of 100% can be reached.
