this plant is for already a couple of years my absolute number 1 of beautiful specialty bulbs. Just take a look at the infloresence: an umbel with a cross section of more than 15 cm with more than 100 orange-red flowers. In total the plant can flower about a month. This evergreen forms each year a new 'false' stem and leaves. This Scadoxus species is better known under its former name Haemanthus katherinae.
