This plant is better known under its former name O. caudatum. On th epricture you see a character trait of this species: side bulbs are formed on the mother bulbs, where with all other known bulbous plants side bulbs are produced near the base of the bulb. Ornithogalum longibracteatum is very easy to grow. It's very difficult, I won't say impossible, to treat a plant in such a way that it wil die off. It's possible to grow the plant indoors as an evergreen or outdoors in which case the leaves die off in teh winter period.
