the common name of Neomarica candida is walking iris. First when you grow the plant you will understand this name. After the plant has flowered, a new shoot is formed at the place of the flowers. These flowers stood on a long 'flowerstem'. At first this flowerstem grows straight up, later it bends towards the ground. The new plant will form roots and starts growing. This will be about 30 cm away from the mother plant.Neomarica candida is very sensitive for thrips.
