there are three subspecies of A. autumnalis bescribed of which ssp. autumnalis is the best kwon in cultivation. The white coloured flowers are in comparison to the ones of E. bicolor smaller. This subspecies is easy to grow and asks no special treatment in cultivation. I prefer it to grow the plant indoors due to the fragile white flowers.
